Yearning Pot appears in Worlds 1 through 3 of Magatsu Mandala within the Midnight Channel. It can inflict the party with Fear using Atom Smasher, boosted by the passive Fear Boost; if successful, it will follow up with Ghastly Wail, instantly killing those afflicted. When defeated, it may drop Orb of Love. Selling four Orbs of Love at Daidara Metalworks will unlock the Chrome Heart for Naoto Shirogane in the shop.

In Golden, it appears on the 1st and 2nd floor of Magatsu Inaba, and Worlds 1 to 3 of Magatsu Mandala. It may also be summoned by Glorious Hand. It is now weak to fire, but drains physical attacks and is immune to wind. It may support allies with Makarakarn and inflict fear on the party with Evil Touch and Evil Smile, though it no longer has Fear Boost. As with the original, once it succeeds in inflicting fear, it will follow up with Ghastly Wail. It may drop Moonstone for trade at Shiroku Pub.
