Yamanashi is the vice principal of Kokatsu Academy and Dean of Student Affairs.

Appearance[]

Yamanashi wears a black suit and black shoes.

His Shadow Self has golden eyes.

Personality[]

Yamanashi is a strict man over the school rules because he has a high level of authority at the school, but he’s still quick to become nervous if questioned or called out in any way, even if he stubbornly puts his foot down about whatever is under question and has higher expectations for Riko Tanemura as he tends to push any work he can off to her (and then brag about how capable she is), and is quick to follow Akashi's new policies when they sound like they're in line with what the school wants, without much critical thinking. He is so greedy with the money he wants, in fact, he's addicted to gambling and he doesn't want to get a divorce with his wife.

Chapter 3: Concert for Rulebreakers[]

Yamanashi welcomes Kei Akashi to the school. Unknown to him, Akashi is secretly exploiting Kumi Katayama for his own benefits. He had higher expectations for Riko to be in charge of the students at school and then he unfairly and unjustly suspended Katayama from her job after the incident she didn't do when it's Akashi who set her up.

Chapter 4: Symphony of Gluttony[]

Yamanashi is outraged at Riko for slandering Akashi when he's fearful of his reputation to be ruined. Akashi wants him to tell him everything clamming he just wanted to help, but he what was really trying to do is get him to be his supplier for his power so he can used him for his benefits and desires. In Akashi's Palace, Yamanashi's Shadow Self is trapped by the shadows, but rescued by The Phantom Theives.
