Vouivres, also known as Guivre, are flying serpents, or wyverns, with jewels embedded to their foreheads, which gives them the sense of sight. The vouivre is depicted as greedy, her head crowned with pearls and a golden ring about her tail. Many thieves and heroes have attempted to steal the precious gems, despite the reputation of invulnerability attributed to the vouivres. These dragon sub-species usually stayed in a cave for most of the time, only to leave to bathe briefly for a few minutes.
While originally different from each other, both of their names have become synonymous. For example, in The Drac: French Tales of Dragons and Demons, the vouivre is depicted as a female creature with dazzling, green scales which emanate sound as the vouivre flies. The beast in this story stayed in a cave for most of her time, then left to bathe only for a few minutes.
Vouivre can only be obtained through fusion. She appears as an enemy within Nakano's Boundless Domain instance.

Vouivre can be found in Kasumigaseki. She can teach the Blight, Zionga, Shibaboo and Marin Karin skills through her Demon Whisper. Vouivre benefits from learning Electricity and Ailment skills.

A Vouivre of Niflheim who resides in the Dark North. She asks Jin to help her find her lost Dragon Gem. After retrieving it from Hvergelmir and bringing it to her, the dragon girl is glad and rewards Jin with a kiss before disappearing.
