Varnani (ヴァルナーニ, Varunāni)? is a demon in the series.
History
Varnani, known as Varuni in Hinduism, is the goddess of wine, liquor, and the 'golden nectar', and the consort of Varuna. She was birthed from the churning of amrita and is sometimes referred to as the daughter of Varuna. She is the secret form of Vajravarahi, a goddess of wisdom through experience that drives away evil spirits (i.e. depression) and also represents the purifying form of amrita.

Upon hearing of Roland's determination to confront and stop Meganada, Sera received Serph's Water Crown Atma Brand and gained the ability to shift into Varnani, inheriting his Mantra Board and skillset as well. Sera retains the power to shift into demon form even after Serph has been revived within the E.G.G. Facility. However, she raises her stats on her own.
When Sera and Serph ascend to the Sun as Seraph, they both inherit their skillset and Mantra grid, along with having a stat boost.

- Both Japanese and English in-game spellings of Varnani (ヴァルナーニ) are the anagrams of Nirvana (ニルヴァーナ). Both names also rhyme very similarly.
