Etymology[]
"Form is emptiness; emptiness is form" (色即是空 空即是色*)? is one of the most famous Buddhist concepts, usually quoted from Heart Sutra (般若波羅蜜多心経*)?, but it is not the sole source of the quote. It teaches that what we human can feel (see, smell, touch, etc.) is not eternal and can be reduced to emptiness by karma.
