Valac, also known as Ualac, Valax, Valu, Coolor, Doolas, Volach, Valak, Valic or Volac, is the 62nd demon listed in the Ars Goetia and a great president of Hell. Its appearance is said to be of a small, poor angelically winged boy riding on a two-headed dragon.
He has thirty legions of demons (though some manuscripts say 13, 20, 27 or 38) at his disposal and is said to give true answers about hidden treasures and is attributed with the power of finding treasures. Also, he reveals where serpents can be seen, and delivers them harmless to the magician. Some also similarly attribute him with the power to give the summoner command of serpents as well as "household spirits," but it ranks him with the princes instead of presidents.
Rudd's version uniquely has Valac opposed by the Shemhamphorasch angel Iahhel.
