Inaba no Shiro Usagi

Hare of Inaba, the most recurring UMA

The UMA race, known in Japan as "Rare Beasts" (珍獣, Chinjuu)? race is a race of demons in the Megami Tensei series.

Overview[]

Demons of the UMA race are Neutral-Neutral demons of the Beasts species in the Shin Megami Tensei series.

The English name is an abbreviation of Unidentified Mysterious Animal, another term for cryptids, which are creatures that have been reported to exist but of which there is little to no scientific evidence, including legendary creatures like Yetis or the Jersey Devil.

Outside of the Strange Journey games, the UMA race shares a characteristic with the Zealot, Enigma, and Famed races in that to create them, a fusion accident needs to occur.
