Training is a mechanic in Persona 5.

Appearances[edit | edit source]

Profile[edit | edit source]

Persona 5[edit | edit source]

Home Training[edit | edit source]

The protagonist is able to train at Café Leblanc, by suspending from one of the beams in the attic. It can be accessed by interacting with one of the chairs. Initially, he is granted an HP boost, and with every four visits, the total grows. This applies for four stages separated by four visits. However, on every last fourth training, the protagonist only gains 1 HP, with every visit after finishing the final stage doing the same.

Visits Benefits Stage
1st to 3rd 5 HP First Stage
4th 1 HP
5th to 7th 6 HP Second Stage
8th 1 HP
9th to 11th 7 HP Third Stage
12th 1 HP
13th to 15th 8 HP Fourth Stage
16th and after 1 HP

Gym Training[edit | edit source]

The protagonist is able train at Protein Lovers Gym in Shibuya for a fee of 2,000 yen per visit once the protagonist advances either Ryuji Sakamoto's Confidant to Rank 5 or Ann Takamaki's Confidant to Rank 8. The system is similar to training at home; however, he is able to boost his SP as well.

1st to 3rd 3 HP; 2 SP First Stage
4th 1 HP; 1 SP
5th to 7th 5 HP; 3 SP Second Stage
8th 1 HP; 1 SP

Protein[edit | edit source]

Drinking protein before a training session boosts the efficiency of the protagonist's training. For each training session, the protagonist is able to consume a single bottle of protein of his choice, which adds on to the total result of his training. Moist Protein is only available during rainy weather, and only 1 can be bought at a time.
