Tomoe's Doumaru is an armor item.
History[]
Tomoe Gozen was a female warrior from the late Heian period of feudal Japan. She served Minamoto no Yoshinaka during the Genpei War from 1180 to 1185, and was a part of the conflict that led to the first military dictatorship of Japan. Tomoe, like other members of the warrior class, was trained in the use of weapons to protect her household, family, and honor in times of war.
A doumaru is a traditional style of Japanese armor constructed from lacquered plates of leather and metal laced together with cords.
