Titanomachia (ティタノマキア, Titanomakia)? is a special damage-dealing skill in the series.
Effects[]
In Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner and Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner 2, Titanomachia (localized as merely "Titan" in the first game) deals mega Earth damage to all enemies and can instantly defeat enemies that have been turned to stone. It exists as a combo-exclusive spell in the first game, but can be learned as a regular spell in the second game.
In Persona 4 Arena and Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, Titanomachia appears as Shadow Labrys's Awakened SP Skill. During the cut-in, up to three commands can be inputted, which Asterius will perform. After executing all commands during Titanomachia's activation, Asterius will follow up with a full screen Fire attack. In Ultimax, the skill is given a five-second cooldown period and an SB variant.
In Shin Megami Tensei IV and Shin Megami Tensei IV Apocalypse, Titanomachia deals heavy Physical damage to all enemies. It has a high critical rate, but has low accuracy to compensate.
In Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal, Titanomachia deals severe Fire damage to all enemies. Unlike other Fire skills, Titanomachia cannot inflict Burn. Instead, it has a high chance of inflicting the Fear ailment on its targets.

Etymology[]
Titanomachy means the "battle of Titans," a ten-year war between the Titans and the Olympians which the former were defeated and subsequently imprisoned in the Tartarus.
