  • Had you tried if it ignores null binds?

    • I can't confirm this first-hand, though since Infinite Despair also can't be healed with items, I would assume that it doesn't play by our rules.

    • I'll see for myself if it does in fact ignore bind immunities, but that will take some time as I first have to get to Doe. As of now, I am right before the Mother Computer and my highest-level character is the P5 Hero at Level 55.

    • Just confirmed for myself that Infinite Despair does ignore bind immunity. It's extremely rare for bosses to pull this off if they aren't either a bonus boss or the final boss.

    • What do you mean by "pull this off"?

    • I meant that it is very rare for a boss in either Shin Megami Tensei, Persona, or any other spinoffs to have a skill that ignores immunities to ailments unless they are either a bonus boss or the final boss. Sure, there is Pierce for going through physical resistances and specific elemental pierce passives in the Shin Megami Tensei IV games, but generally a boss cannot inflict an ailment with its skills if you make yourself immune to that ailment.
