Effect[edit | edit source]
This skill randomly inflicts all foes with either Dizzy or Down ailments. The knockdown chance is calculated for each foe separately; for example, it may knock down just one foe, two of them or none at all. Kanji will be given a One More even if only one enemy is downed, regardless of how many are on the battlefield.

Etymology[edit | edit source]
The hanamichi is an extra stage section used in kabuki theater. It is a long, raised platform, running left of center to the stage through the audience, connecting to the main stage.
The hanamichi is typically used for character entrances and exits, though is also used for asides and scenes that do not take place in the location as scenes on the main stage; the hanamichi also typically features a trapdoor just before the runway meets the stage, placed to be visible to everyone in the audience, which is commonly used for character entrances. Some kabuki plays also require the use of two hanamichi, running along the left and right of the audience.
On another note, the kanji used for "man" in this instance can be romanized in Go-on and Kan-on methods as "Kan," as in "Kanji."
