Trivia

"Shin Megami Tensei IV will be the first game in the main series to add voice acting.", isn't this technically wrong? Strange Journey and Nocturne had voice acting, albeit minor voice acting.

Those were the voices of some of the Atlus staff, so it's not really voice acting. Besides, voice acting is a full spoken phrase in a scene or event rather than some groaning in a battle. -- Crok425 (talk) 08:25, August 28, 2012 (UTC)

I'm not really a big fan of it. What would you write in the article? They might change the main character's design or tweak it a bit in the end even. What demons are confirmed to be in the game?

So far I've seen Girimehkala, Titan, and Dantalion in the trailers. Who else might be there?

As of now in the 2nd trailer 1:28 3x Girimehkala PC, Beelzebub, Surt, White Rider /1:38 I don't know those/can't see those well /1:40 2x Halphas, 2x Ose, 2x Bifrons, Dantalion, Melchom /1:44 Titan, 2x Kelpie /1:49 ( Fusion ) Makami + Momunofu( + ??? + ??? )= ??? /2:31 Seems new, maybe it's called "Adam"

Law and Chaos songs found

Hooray for nostalgia! The classical alignments are definitely in the game because the themes of Law and Chaos have been found in the site.

I don't know if it's official, but on the Wikipedia page for Shim Megami Tensei 4, it states the the European release date was 19th of September, 2013. Thank you, I didn't see that. Checked the link and it takes me to EBGames Australia. So it seems it's going to be released in Australia on 19th September, but Game UK still has TBA 2013. Same with Amazon UK. Will keep an eye on it, see if either site has the European date up soon.

The Wikipedia article said TBA 2013 not long ago since we last talked. But I checked Wikipedia again little over a mere minute ago and it said September 9th this time. I checked the [5] citation and it just said Template:Web url. No actual website. I look around other websites and sources which still cite September 19th as the European release, but I don't know what their source is if any. We can officially rule out SMTIV being released in Europe in September. The month has passed and still no EU relese date. And I heavily doubt it will come this month, because Pokemon X and Y is coming this month, and pretty much everyone's gonna be buying it, thereby endangering SMTIV's status in the market. Don't want to be the guy who kills the mood here (especially since I'm still waiting for the game myself as I'm from Germany), but I doubt we'll get the game this year over here. After it has been announced for Europe via Nintendo Direct, there hasn't been any other announcement for it so far. No release date, not mentioned in any Nintendo Direct afterwards (not even the one that aired yesterday), no mention who is actually going to publish the game over here to begin with (Wikipedia says Nintendo would, but I only found links there that stated Nintendo would publish it in Korea and Taiwan)...

Expect it sometime in 2014, I guess. Hopefully it won't take as long as Overclocked did, though.

There's something not quite right. I hear there's no defence stat in this game, but I see moves like Rakukaja and other moves that raise or lower defence in this game.
