- Curiously enough, it was never released in the US, so I haven't either. It's out in Europe though.

Renaming of articles[]
Some of the character names are named after their U.S Localization in Maken X. I'd like to propose that they be renamed to their Maken Shao PAL/English localization. The Maken Shao localization is a direct translation of the original Japanese versions of both games (with the exception of Mr. Meteor, which is Tenson Ryuusei in Japanese). Renaming it like this would follow the original source more closely, and for some would make sense (e.g. 'Kay' is not a Japanese name nor is the character named as such in the original source).
In regards to the Maken X/Shao split, I should note that there's quite a lot of gameplay changes. Otherwise the story is untouched. I don't know if that warrants a split, but I think another section detailing the changes is enough. And yes, I know I'm 4 years too late. ._. Chilong (talk) 10:00, August 26, 2013 (UTC)
- From what I understand, Maken Shao is actually the enhanced remake of Maken X, isn't it? If that's the case, I don't think there is an objection to it. BLUER一番 12:39, August 26, 2013 (UTC)
- Yeah, enhanced remake. Primarily change from first-person to third-person, change in stats, change in movesets, some change in stage layout, two additional modes... Anyway, I'll make a split then after I add the content to the existing/missing pages. Need to finalize my stat template too and hopefully implement it, maybe add a navigational bar like every other series too. I'll need to find out how to do that first though LOL.
