"I can't lose to him"

Ok, so in the Trivia it says that Junpei's in-battle Persona-summoning comment "I can't lose to him" is referring to the male protagonist. Is this actually true? When people say that sort of thing, they're usually referring to their opponent, and Junpei is never the protagonist's opponent. I'd be more inclined to think that Junpei is referring to whatever Shadow he is fighting (and just regarding all Shadows as male) than the protagonist. Cixer (talk) 17:27, July 15, 2012 (UTC)

Not that I'm trying to blat on you but did you actually play P3? He's really jealous of P3MC and has a one sided competition with him a lot of the time. Also it makes sense in context.

"Did I play?" Pssh, P3 is probably my favorite game of all time. Besides I thought you were always trying to blat on me
However, as I said above, "losing to [someone]" is generally only used when said someone is one's opponent, which the MC is not. It makes SOME sense, but I'm asking if it's confirmed/universally accepted that the MC is who Junpei is talking about, because if not, that Trivia tidbit is totally false.
