What is Atlus ENG? Is that a real company title?

Does anyone know who actually owns Atlus? Is it a subsidiary? Publicly traded? It doesn't seem to be owned by Kaneko Kazuma or Koji "Cozy" Okada?

They've renamed themselves recently.
