Takashi is a yakuza thug who is turned into a vampire and an accomplice of Sid Davis. He first appears early on when the protagonist is accompanied by Kyouji Kuzunoha in the Amusement Park. Takashi attempts to kill them by summoning several Pisacas to attack them, which are easily defeated by Kyouji. He manages to escape, although he appears later when Professor Azuma's house gets infested by demons. Shocked that the protagonist is alive, he summons Yakou and several other demons to kill him. After the demons are defeated or once eight turns pass, Takashi reveals that he was setting a bomb during the fight, but he mistakenly sets the bomb off too early. The protagonist runs outside, and Azuma's house gets completely destroyed, and the police arrive at the scene. Inspector Momochi accuses the protagonist and Rei of being behind the destruction, and sends them to prison, though they are soon freed.
Takashi's corpse later gets possessed by Kyouji, and saves Kumiko Hatano from being kidnapped by Strigoii and Strix. He also opens the gate to Tenzan Tendou's Mansion.

- Takashi's surname Yamazaki means "mountain, hill" (山) (yama) and "cape, peninsula" (崎) (saki/zaki).
