Sword of Sinai is a weapon in Persona 5 Royal.
History[]
In the Bible, Mount Sinai is where God taught Moses the Ten Commandments. In the Book of Exodus, Sinai was described as being enshrouded by a cloud and its summit burning with fire — a direct consequence of God arriving upon the mountain. Moses stayed at Sinai for 40 days and nights in order to receive the Ten Commandments, and he did so twice after breaking the first set of tablets.
The mountain is interchangeably called "Sinai" and "Horeb." Horeb is thought to mean "glowing/heat", a reference to the sun, while Sinai may have derived from the name of Sin, the Sumerian deity of the moon. Thus, Sinai and Horeb are mountains of the moon and sun, respectively.
