The Suit of Coins (金貨, Kinka)? or Pentacles is one of the four Minor Arcana of the Tarot, along with Cups, Swords and Wands. In Tarot, coins or pentacles relate to the element of Earth, the accumulation of wealth, health, luck and physical prosperity, but also misfortune, ill health or poverty. This suit is also meant to represent the people of the street, artisans, merchants and city-dwellers in general.

Persona 2[]
In the Persona 2 duology, the Suit of Coins, along with the other Minor Arcana suits, refers to a group of Persona that can only be created through mutation; this is, a Persona is granted the Mutation ability, upon completing its moveset will mutate into another Persona, one belonging to one of the four Minor Arcanas.

Persona 3[]
In Persona 3, Coins are Shuffle Time cards granting various extra bonuses depending on the drawn card. By drawing a Coin card, extra money is granted at the end of battles. The value of the bonus is augmented by the card's value.
Persona 4 Golden[]
The Minor Arcanas are returned in Shuffle Time with the Suit of Coins increasing Yen gained, the value of the bonus augmented by the card's value.
