Profile[]
Persona 3 / FES / Portable / Reload[]
Both the male protagonist and female protagonist are able to spend time studying, which will boost their Academics Social Stats. The protagonists' Social Stat points can change depending on their physical condition.
- During the daytime after school, the protagonist can study in the library at Gekkoukan High School.
- During the evening, the protagonist can only study in their room. If the physical condition is low, no points will be given.
- During the daytime on days off, as spending time in the dormitory will use up the entire day, the protagonist will be rewarded with double the notes.
Persona 4 / Golden[]
In Persona 4, the protagonist is able to spend his time studying, which will boost his Knowledge stat. He can study at Yasogami High School's library by himself or invite Social Links to the library to study together. The protagonist can gain additional Social Link points by inviting them. The protagonist may also spend time studying inside his room. If the protagonist reads the book "Expert Study Methods," he will gain an additional Knowledge point per study session.
Persona 5 / Royal[]
"Don't forget to study, though. I won't have you blaming me if your grades start dropping."
The protagonist is able to spend his time studying, which will boost his Knowledge stat by 2 notes. If the weather is rainy, the protagonist will receive an additional, separate note. In Persona 5 Royal, if the protagonist reads the book Factorization Guide, he'll gain an additional stat point per study session.
There are several locations the protagonist can study at, and there might be additional perks or factors depending on the place:
- Café Leblanc: only available during the night, and there must be no customers; does not have additional perks;
- Shujin Academy library: only available during the day on school days. Boosts Knowledge by 1 note only, but also has a chance to boost Guts by 1 note. The effects of the weather do not apply;[citation needed]
- In Persona 5 Royal, this only applies until 4/30 while in Sunny or Cloudy weather. Otherwise, the event will be overridden and instead function as normal (similarly to Café Leblanc.)[1][citation needed]
- Diner: the protagonist can study there (innately for 2 notes of Knowledge in Persona 5, and for 1 note in Persona 5 Royal). The effects of the Factorization Guide do not apply at the diner. In addition, the protagonist can make a paid order that will help him boost one other Social Stat of his choice by 1 note;
- Class: studying is an available option when the protagonist gets additional free time in class, accessed by unlocking Sadayo Kawakami's Confidant. Event is available on certain days only. The stat gain is fixed, and the effects of the weather and the Factorization Guide do not apply;
- Invitations: the protagonist can be invited to study with some of his Confidants on specific days. Boosts Knowledge by 3 notes.
- Automatic study session: a story event on 12/19, the scene ends with the protagonist receiving 3 notes of Knowledge.
