Persona 3

Spurious Book appears during the first Full Moon Operation, blocking the party's progress towards the front of the train and Arcana Priestess. It will later appear in the upper half of the first section of Arqa Block in Tartarus as a normal enemy.

Spurious Book also makes an appearance in the first half of Malebolge in the Abyss of Time, with altered capabilities.

Persona 4 / Golden

Spurious Book appears in Chapters 3 and 4 of the Void Quest within the Midnight Channel. When defeated, it may drop Paleograph. Selling ten Paleographs at Daidara Metalworks will unlock the Healthy Recipe accessory, which helps prevent Exhaustion.

In Golden, it appears in Chapters 2 to 4. It gains a weakness to fire and ice. In battle, it trades Zionga for Maragi and Mabufu and can sap away SP with Spirit Drain. It may also drop Olive Stone for trade at Shiroku Pub. Selling five Paleographs at Daidara is enough to unlock the Healthy Recipe.

Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth

Spurious Book appears in Stops 1 and 2 of the Group Date Cafe. When defeated, it may drop Scripture Piece and Scripture Latch. Scripture Piece is used to create the Fuscina for Ken and Nanban Gusoku for Chie. Scripture Latch is used to create the Raging Bull for Naoto.

Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth

Spurious Book appears in Aves 2 and 3 of the first Theater, Kamoshidaman. It attacks with Zio and may put the party to Sleep. When defeated, it may drop Scripture Jewel and Scripture Page. Scripture Jewel is used to create the Sleep Sling for Morgana, the Meteorite Katana for Yusuke, and the Eclat Saber for Akechi. Scripture Page is used to create the Spiked Bat for Ryuji, the Unmarked Katana for Yusuke, and the Primary Cat Suit female armor.
