Spartoi is a demon in the series.

History

In Greek legend, the Spartoi were a supernatural army of artificial men created from the teeth of a dragon sacred to Ares. They spring fully armed from where the teeth are planted like seeds in the plowed field. Invariably, they can be easily provoked into killing each other but the survivors can go on to father children of their own.
