This article covers information about the Magician Social Link, Yosuke Hanamura, including events and skills featured in Persona 4 and Persona 4 Golden.

The protagonist automatically starts Yosuke's Social Link on April 16th, the day after he awakens to his Persona after fighting his Shadow in the TV World. He can be found during the day down the end of the hallway on the second floor of Yasogami High. During days off, Yosuke is hanging out at the west entrance of Junes near the elevators that lead to the food court.

It is the first Social Link to be obtained by the protagonist.

Yosuke gives the protagonist a Buddy's Bandage when the Social Link is maxed, which enables the fusion of Mada.

Other

In Persona 4 Golden, starting on 4/19, the protagonist can sneak out at night when Ryotaro Dojima is not home and spend time with Social Links in the Central Shopping District. Since time is limited in the evening, the Social Link cannot advance. However, during the day, it can then be progressed to the next rank. The protagonist will also receive an item, which can differ depending on the progress of the Social Link.

• In Golden, the protagonist can increase Yosuke's Social Link progression by 2 points by saying "Tell me more." on 06/08. If the protagonist has a Persona of the Magician Arcana in his stock, the progression will be 3 points.
• On 06/22, recommending ganmodoki to Yosuke will increase his Social Link progression by 1 point without a matching Persona, and 2 points with a Persona. In Golden, this is 2 points without a matching Persona and 3 points with one.
• If the protagonist agreed to help Nanako with her homework on 8/23, Yosuke's Social Link progression will automatically increase by 2 on the evening of 8/24.
• During the culture festival on 10/29, saying "Yosuke." after choosing to sit in a girl's seat will increase Yosuke's Social Link progression by 2 points without a matching Persona, and 3 points with a Persona.
