The nature of Adachi's character results in a highly irregular Social Link. The protagonist can start Adachi's Social Link as early as May 13th shortly after completing Yukiko's Castle. He is found in the Junes Department Store during the day and the Central Shopping District in front of the gas station at night. The deadline for the first six ranks is November 1st, and if the Social Link is not Rank 6 after this, it will be locked for the rest of the game. His Social Link is unavailable as long as a victim is inside the Midnight Channel.

The schedule is inconsistent; it is a daytime Social Link for Ranks 1 and 2 before moving to nighttime for Ranks 3-5, then returning to daytime for Rank 6. After ranking the Social Link to Rank 6, it freezes until Heaven is completed, at which point it starts to progress automatically with the game's story, although whether certain Ranks can be attained depend on the protagonist's decisions later on in the game.
