This article covers information about the Chariot Social Link, Chie Satonaka, including events and skills featured in Persona 4 and Persona 4 Golden.

The protagonist automatically starts Chie's Social Link on April 18th, the day after she awakens to her Persona after fighting her Shadow within the Midnight Channel. She can be found during the day on the rooftop of Yasogami High. During days off, Chie hangs outside the entrance of Daidara Metalworks.

Chie gives the protagonist matching Wristbands once the Social Link is maxed, which enables the fusion of Futsunushi.

Other

In Persona 4 Golden, starting on 4/19, the protagonist can sneak out at night when Ryotaro Dojima is not home and spend time with Social Links in the Central Shopping District. Since time is limited in the evening, the Social Link cannot advance. However, during the day, it can then be progressed to the next rank. The protagonist will also receive an item, which can differ depending on the progress of the Social Link.

• The protagonist can increase Chie's Social Link progression by 1 point by comforting her on 5/7. If the protagonist has a Persona of the Chariot Arcana in his stock, the progression will be 2 points.
• During the school campout on 6/17, eating the curry made by Chie and Yukiko will increase both of their Social Links by 2 points each without matching Personas, and 3 points each with matching Personas. This requires Rank 4 Courage (Daring).
• During the school campout on 6/18, telling Chie specifically that she looks cute will advance her Social Link by 1 point without a matching Persona, and 2 points with a Persona. In Golden, this is 2 points without a matching Persona and 3 points with one.
• In Golden, saying "I can't wait to see Chie." on 7/25 will increase Chie's Social Link progression by 3 points.
• During the summer festival on 8/20, saying "You actually look sexy, Chie." will increase Chie's Social Link progression by 2 points without a matching Persona, and 3 points with a Persona.
• In Golden, going to the summer festival with Chie on 8/21 and wishing to become closer to her will increase her Social Link progression by 3 points. This requires the protagonist and Chie to be dating.
• If the protagonist agreed to help Nanako with her homework on 8/23, the Social Link progression for both Chie and Yukiko will automatically increase by 2 points each on the evening of 8/25.
• During the class trip on 9/9, saying "#2 sits on my lap." will increase Chie's Social Link progression by 2 points without a matching Persona, and 3 points with a Persona.
• During the culture festival on 10/29, it is possible to earn points for Chie's Social Link regardless of which area the protagonist sits in:
  • Saying "Someone like Chie." after choosing to sit in a guy's seat will increase Chie's Social Link progression by 2 points without a matching Persona, and 3 points with a Persona.
  • Picking "Ask Yukiko the same question" after choosing to sit in a girl's seat will increase Chie's Social Link progression by 2 points without a matching Persona, and 3 points with a Persona.
