Sleeping Table appears as the second sub-boss found in the Tziah Block within Tartarus on floor 135. It reappears as a normal enemy in Persona 3 FES's "The Answer" in Empyrean.
In Persona 3, the Sleeping Table is steeply more difficult than previous bosses due to its high damage potential and defense. Junpei is a better choice for the fight than Koromaru since while he lacks Koromaru's immunity to Fire, he is not weak to the Sleeping Table's Hamaon. Use Patra or Patra Gems to dispel the Fear ailment, as this boss will use Ghastly Wail to instantly kill those who are afflicted with the ailment from Evil Touch. Also, since there is no way to resist Megidola, maintaining a satisfactory HP level with the protagonist is essential. Sleeping Table can be Knocked Down by Critical hits, so bringing a Persona with Revolution can potentially trivialize the battle, as a full All-Out Attack can take its HP down by as much as a third.
The Sleeping Table first appears in random encounters in the 2nd and 3rd World of Magatsu Mandala within the Midnight Channel. It will try to Exhaust the party with Anima Freeze and then cause damage with Megidolaon. After being defeated it may drop a Thought Cross. Selling 4 Thought Crosses will unlock the Komaryo Uchinugi male armor in the shop.
It will later appear as a sub-boss in on the 6th Path of Yomotsu Hirasaka. It impedes the player's progress and must be fought to proceed with the dungeon. The boss variant of the Sleeping Table possesses the ability to inflict Fear on the entire party with Evil Smile and will follow up with Ghastly Wail to kill those that are affected. It will also attack with Maragidyne or use Mahamaon to potentially kill multiple party members instantly.
