Tatsuhime Shrine in Persona 4 Golden
The Shrines (聖堂, Seidō)? are a recurring location found in the Persona series.

Persona 1 & 2[]

In both Megami Ibunroku Persona and the Persona 2 duology, is a location noted for its ties with Philemon that the protagonist and party members can visit.
Persona 3[]
The protagonist can visit Naganaki Shrine to boost their Academics stat.
During daytime, the protagonist can also draw Fortune for ¥100 to boost their progress with a Social Link of their choice. If the Social Link is reversed, it will have a chance to be mended. Time will pass if they spend time on the Fortune Box. The protagonist can draw between:
- Fair luck: the protagonist finds ¥1,000
- Little luck: the protagonist finds ¥500
- Bad luck: the protagonist loses ¥1,000
Exclusive to Persona 3 Portable, the protagonist can multiply their Skill Cards using the Inari which will take a few days to get the Cards back.
Persona 4 Golden[]
In Persona 4 Golden only, the protagonist can visit the Tatsuhime Shrine's Yashiro, an activity which helps the protagonist boost the progress of a Social Link of their choice.
Usually, the protagonist is only able to visit the Shrine during the day. However, the location can become accessible during the evening if their Courage stat is at least Rank 2 (Reliable).
The Shrine is the main location to complete ema requests from the Fox in order to rank his Social Link.
The protagonist can draw a fortune between small, great and mild which depending on what they get it will raise the Social Links much faster. Drawing fortunes however, won't let them get closer to them unlike spending time with them. Time will pass if they spend time on the Fortune Box.
Exclusive to Persona 4 Golden, the protagonist can spend time Bug Catching during the day and night after talking to the boy and talk again to the woman in white at night. Once done, talking to the boy the next day and the protagonist will obtain a bug net.
Persona 5[]
The Meiji Shrine needs to be unlocked by reading the "Tokyo Shrines" magazine, or by accepting Ann Takamaki's invitation on August 6th.
Visiting the Meiji Shrine is a time-consuming activity, which can only be visited during the day. Doing so will grant the protagonist the ability to increase the rank points with his Confidants. By default, the notes received will be 1, but they are also influenced by relevant multipliers, such as whether the protagonist has brought a Persona with the same Arcana as the Confidant, or if he scored high on exams.
While praying, the protagonist needs to choose how much they want to pay in offerings: they can either pay none, pay ¥5, or ¥1,000, then choose which Confidant's rank they wish to boost. Depending on the three choices, it will be more likely that he'll receive an additional note (1% for nothing, 5% for ¥5, 20% for ¥1,000). [1][2]
The Meiji Shrine is also a hangout spot, which the protagonist can visit with one of their Confidants. For more information, see Meiji Shrine.
Persona 5 Strikers[]
When visiting Sendai, the protagonist can visit the Shrine to buy exclusive accessories. He can also buy a fortune for ¥100 per draw, which can only be used once when loading a save file. He can draw between Blessing or Great Blessing which helps him boost his BOND stats. Blessing will increased them by a quarter, while Great Blessing will do so by half.
