Shoggoth is a demon in the series.

History

Shoggoth are creatures from H.P. Lovecraft's Mythos and appear as slime-like entities. They can take whatever form is necessary for their task and have a myriad of eyes within them. They were created by the Elder Things to be beasts of burden billions of years ago but eventually turned against their creators. They tend to serve human cultists or Old Ones in the current era.

Persona 2: Eternal Punishment

Four Shoggoths appear to aid Ginji Sasaki after he becomes Joker Ginji. They can be found in the Factory, Nichirinmaru, Bomb Shelter 4, and Seedy CD. Spreading a rumor about Shoggoth will make it break the boulder that blocks the way to Bomb Shelter 5.
