This list compiles a list of all videos from the Shin Megami Tensei V Daily Demon (真・女神転生V 日めくり悪魔, Shin Megami Tensei Faibu Himekuri Akuma)? video series.

Profile

The series consists of short 1-minute segments, each showcasing a certain fusable demon appearing in Shin Megami Tensei V, out of a total of 214.[1][2] The campaign went on until a month after the release of the game.

Narration for the videos was done by Tomokazu Sugita, the voice actor for Shohei Yakumo, as well as many past Megami Tensei characters.

The series ran during promotion of the game, starting from June 17th, with new episodes being published daily at 7:00 PM JST on Atlus' Japanese YouTube account (atlustube). Starting on September 12th (with Daily Demon #088,) the frequency of uploads was increased to twice a day, now being published at 12:00 PM along with the pre-established 7:00 PM JST upload time. After #205, the rest of the videos in the series would be uploaded after the release of the game, and would be split between much longer intervals than usual: video #206 was scheduled for November 15, 7:00 PM JST, 6 days after the previous, with that and the next 6 videos being scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with the next 2 videos being moved a day later, on Tuesday and Thursday, with the final demon, Shiva, being scheduled a week later.

Although the series has not been published in English, it has been uploaded on Sega's respective Korean and Traditional Chinese YouTube channels with overlaid subtitles, although those air 5 days later.

None of the new demons were introduced via the Daily Demon series; all demons' designs and names would first be revealed via other media, whether its through video, the website, the media, or even through the game itself for demons that have been introduced after its release. This is likely to cater to the Demon Silhouette Quiz at the end of each video. As for spoiler demons, such as Lahmu, those would only be hosted after the game's release. Additionally, demons with multiple forms, such as Khonsu, Nuwa and Abdiel, would only have 1 of their recruitable forms showcased, preferably their boss form. DLC demons would not be included in the series.

In the game's Release Eve Stream in Japan, a 100 hand-selected videos of the series would be showcased and divided in 3 segments within its schedule.

Trivia

  • The skill pool of demons showcased in the Daily Demon series do not portray each demon's individual skillset from leveling up, instead giving room for the use of Essences and Fusion inheritance. For example, Idun uses Bowl of Hygieia in her video, while her learnset does not let her naturally learn the skill on her own.
