The Schwartzwelt is a world comprised of alternate dimensions and is inhabited by demons. Upon its first appearance, it was only approximately one meter in diameter, but rapidly started to grow in size. Consuming large areas of land and bases belonging to several nations and stretching to the sky. While researching the Schwartzwelt with unmanned probes, it is discovered that the Schwartzwelt closely mirrors the human world causing disbelief among those viewing images retrieved from the probes. This leads to several nations' leaders forming an expedition to the interior of the Scwartzwelt. However, since they have no knowledge of the conditions inside and since there the plasma barrier surrounding the world within breaks objects down on a molecular level as it expands, a great deal of technological backing is required.

The interior of the Scwartzwelt is comprised of eight sectors. Each sector being controlled by a major demon with designs on destroying humanity, for various reasons according to each one's beliefs.

7. Sector Grus
8. Sector Horologium

It is interesting to note that each of the sectors are named after the constellations of the same names. Antlia means "air pump", Bootes means "herdsman", Carina means "keel", Delphinus means "dolphin, Eridanus is derived from the Eridanus river in Greek Mythology, Fornax means "chemical furnace", Grus means "crane" (as in the bird) and Horologium means "pendulum clock".
