Sasori Otoko (サソリおとこ), or Girtablulu (ギルタブ, girutabu), is a demon in the series.

History

Meaning Scorpion Man, Girtablulu were created by Tiamat to get revenge against the gods that betrayed Apsu, her mate. Afterwards they appear in The Epic of Gilgamesh in which they are the guards of the gates of the sun god Shamash. They are the ones that open and close the gates each time Shamash goes in and out and warn travelers about the danger inside them.
