Romero is an intelligent monkey created by Dr. Thrill. He is found at the end of the Primate Intelligence Labs and instead of fighting him like a normal boss, he instead gives the protagonist four riddles to "defeat" him. Getting a question wrong results in getting sent back to the beginning of the floor. After getting his four questions right, he is surprised someone could solve his riddles; the protagonist is then given a choice to either finish him off or help him. Choosing to spare him results in Romero summoning five Rolwoys and attacking, while immediately attacking only results in three Rolwoys.
