Ririn usually sports a unique twintail hairstyle with a round, spiky top. She always has on her school uniform consisting of a blue blazer and red checkered skirt.
She is only seen wearing a different outfit during her part-time job, which is a swimsuit with a maid headband and a short apron.

Ririn often complains about not having much money, and is always looking for ways to earn it quickly. She works part-time at a swimsuit café and has dabbled in writing light novels, in hopes that she will become a rich author.
Despite her obsession with money, it is seemingly not for herself - she mostly uses the money to support her younger siblings.

- Ririn's surname Ueda means "above, top, upper" (上) (ue) and "field, rice paddy" (田) (ta/da).
