Reckoning Dice is a sub-boss found guarding the way forward on the 211th floor of Tartarus. It blocks all ailments.
Reckoning Dice is only vulnerable to physical attacks, but can cast Tetrakarn to cover this vulnerability temporarily. Aigis, however, is a great asset to the fight as she greatly resists her own normal attack type - when Tetrakarn goes up, trigger Rush to allow her to disarm the shield while taking minimal damage. You can also equip your party with accessories that nullify their own attack type to safely disarm Tetrakarn on any other turn.
The other dangerous move is Provoke, especially augmented by its Rage Boost, as it can goad the party member into attacking into its Tetrakarn. Even when Tetrakarn isn't active, enraged party members have lowered defenses and are prone to taking massive damage from Megidola and Megidolaon.
Reckoning Dice reappears later in the second and third section of Empyrean within the Abyss of Time as a regular enemy. It maintained the same elemental affinities as its sub-boss variant.
Persona 4 / Golden[]
Reckoning Dice appears on Paths 7 and 8 of Yomotsu Hirasaka within the Midnight Channel. It can also be summoned to battle by the Brilliant King. While not flagged as a weakness, it will take 50% more damage from Physical attacks and six times as much damage from Almighty attacks. When defeated, it may drop Vengeance Steel. Selling ten Vengeance Steels at the TV extension of Daidara Metalworks will unlock the Kashin Koji for Yosuke Hanamura in the shop.
In Golden, they can appear in Paths 3, 4, and 6 as Red Shadows, and Paths 7 and 8 as regular Shadows. They can also be summoned by Brilliant Kings. They no longer repel all elemental spells. It will try to down party members with Cleave and Apt Pupil before using Last Resort.
