Rarung is a demon in the series.

History

Rarung, also known as Rarong, is the being who plays the role of Rangda's apprentice in the Calonarang dance. She is Rangda’s servant and disciple but can also represents her daughter. Rarung is known for practicing dark magic and being able to bring people back from the dead. Rarung can also take the appearance of a beautiful lady, a tiger and a bird. Because of their similarities, some call Rarung "Red Rangda."
