The Pugilist is an Adept-tier Archetype from the Brawler Lineage that is born from the deepened bond between the protagonist and Catherina, with the Pugilist henceforth becoming available to any Archetype user that has mastered its predecessor the Brawler.
While the Pugilist doesn't improve its range in comparison to the Brawler, it learns skills that improve its damage output and situationally its critical rate, while also preventing the enemy from landing critical hits on them. Also, the Pugilist learns a Pierce attack that lowers the enemy's Defence. Its Synthesis skills are a direct improvement from the Brawler.
