Provoke (バリゾーゴン, Barizougon)? is a skill with various effects.
Effect[]
In Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne, Provoke is a special version of Taunt exclusive to Dante and Raidou Kuzunoha the XIV that restores their MP in addition to raising the foes' attack power by two levels, and decreasing their defense by two levels.
In Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. The Soulless Army, Provoke is an investigation skill that raises the encounter rate until the next New Moon.
In Persona 3, Provoke is an ailment skill has a chance to inflict the Enrage ailment on one foe.

Trivia[]
Dante's version of Provoke is a reference to the Taunting mechanic in the Devil May Cry series: taunting leaves the player character vulnerable, but provides a boost to his Stylish Rank and Devil Trigger gauge. Taunts were officially renamed Provocations in Devil May Cry 5.
