"From time immemorial, there have been heroes who were born into greatness, rather than achieving solely by their deeds. The one who embodies the virtues of all heroes, standing magnanimously above them... There is no need to name him, for he has been called this since antiquity: Prince. Does this Archetype truly exist? What powers does it hold? Whatever truths are behind this mystic force have been lost to time. But much will be expected of this royal hero: He must protect the people's livelihoods and the safety of the country with his life. This cannot be accomplished alone. True strength comes from knowing one's allies well enough to combine their strengths in battle. Let No Prince forget this truth."

Profile[]
"The manifestation of the Prince Archetype. With powerful attack and buff skills, The Prince excels at controlling the battlefield by increasing turns and enhancing allies' strengths. A unique ability to cast all synthesis skills makes the Prince's presence highly valuable for the options they enable in battle."
—Metaphor: ReFantazio
Upon Will discovering his true identity as the prince's Other Half and merging with the body of the slain prince, he automatically awakens to his true Archetype, the Prince, the eleventh and final story-unlocked Archetype, as well as the first Royal Archetype usable in the game. Like all Royal Archetypes, the Prince can only be used by its totem wielder, that being Will.
The Prince is unique in that it can take the place of any other Archetype for Synthesis Skills. Also, in terms of equipment, while the Prince shares weapons with the Seeker lineage, the Prince can equip any armour and gear.
