Prayer, also known as Eternal Prayer (常世の祈り, Tokoyo no inori)^?, is a healing skill.

Effect

Prayer restores all allies' HP to full and removes all status ailments.

In Shin Megami Tensei V, it is a Magatsuhi skill tied to the Megami race, unlocked upon obtaining the Megami Talisman. In this game, it affects allies in the stock as well, and revives them in addition to its other effects.

Etymology

"Tokoyo" (常世^*)^? is the concept of "an unchanging/eternal realm" in ancient Japan which usually means either the netherworld or paradise where the god and deceased go/reside, and access by mortals is strictly forbidden. In Kojiki and Nihon Shoki, Sukuna-Hikona goes to the "land of Tokoyo" after he has helped Okuninushi found the nation.
