The PlayStation 4 (プレイステーション4, Pureisutēshon Fōa)?, officially abbreviated as PS4, is the fourth home video game console produced by Sony Computer Entertainment and the successor to the PlayStation 3 as part of the PlayStation series. The PlayStation 4 Pro would later be released, which supports 4K resolution for select PS4 titles.

The PS4's successor, the PlayStation 5, has backwards compatibility support for a majority of PS4 titles.

The Megami Tensei franchise and its various sub-series have been represented in collaborations with other games available on PlayStation 4:

  • Dragon's Dogma Online (2015, East; shut down in 2019) - MMORPG developed by Capcom. A crossover event themed around Persona 5 ran from October 13 to November 10, 2016, including a questline themed around the Phantom Thieves of Hearts titled "Thief Ranma", and costumes & equipment based on the protagonist and Ann Takamaki.
  • Sonic Forces (2017) - Action-platformer game developed by SEGA subsidiary Sonic Team; installment of the Sonic the Hedgehog game series. The Phantom Thief attire worn by the Persona 5 protagonist featured as a DLC costume set for the game's playable custom avatar character;
  • Phantasy Star Online 2 (2018, East; 2022, West) - MMORPG developed by SEGA subsidiary, SEGA Online R&D; installment of the Phantasy Star franchise.   • BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle (2018) - Fighting game developed by Arc System Works. Crossover game between various Arc System Works and anime IPs, including Persona 4 Arena;
  • Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania (2021) - Party-platformer game developed by SEGA subsidiary Ryu ga Gotoku Studio; installment of the Super Monkey Ball game series. Morgana from Persona 5 featured as a playable DLC guest character.
