Pifrus

Pifrus is a demon in the series.

History[]

Pifrus, also known as Peckols, is a god of the underworld and darkness in Prussian mythology. He appeared as an older man with a white beard and wearing a white headdress similar to a turban. He was also described as scary and ruthless, who would haunt and taunt all those who disobeyed the pagan clergy and didn't perform the necessary funeral rites.

Pockols, a floating spirit, accompanied him. They were later mixed with the Greek deities of anger, the Furies, to get the name "Pifrus." Christian clergy often compared him to the Roman deity Pluto.
