Perpetual Sand is a common enemy on floors 202-213 of Tartarus's Harabah Block. They may either attack the party with Maragion and Magarula, or support their allies with Makarakarn. They cannot be damaged by elemental magic, but are weak to Slash and Pierce skills. They will be the subject of one of Elizabeth's Requests starting December 4th and will drop Sand of Time while the quest is active. Returning to Elizabeth with 3 Sand of Time items will complete the quest.
It reappears later in the second and third section of Ptolomea within the Abyss of Time.
Persona 4 / Golden[]
Perpetual Sand appears in Paradise 1 of Heaven within the Midnight Channel. It will attempt to use Old One on the party before attacking. It is weak to Fire, but it has a resistance to Physical. When defeated, it may drop Golden Sand. Selling six Golden Sands at Daidara Metalworks will unlock the Mythos Robe female armor in the shop.
In Golden, Perpetual Sand appears in Paradises 1 through 4. It will try to inflict Enervation on the party by using Cell Breaker, Enervation or Old One. It may also attack the party with Twin Shot. It is strong against Fire and weak to Electricity. It may also drop Rose Quartz for trade at Shiroku Pub.
