Pellaidh, also spelled as Peallaidh, is a shaggy beast sprite from Scotland. Meaning "Shaggy One," they are a type of Fuath, but unlike most Fuath they are not water spirits, instead they are sprites that live near water. They are also part of the Urisks who tend to scare humans without meaning to. They chase after travelers when they are lonely.

A Pellaidh is summoned by Captain Jack to fight a demon-fused Jimenez who kills it along with Jack's other demons before killing the captain himself.
Shin Megami Tensei IV[]
A foreign demon that infested the waters of Shinobazu Pond in Ueno and made enemies of demons and humans alike. A main quest is made by the hunter Wall-eyed Jun to kill him. Wanting to spoil and do what other disgusting things in the pond, he summons a Horde of Mou-Ryo that are the spirits rumored to be around there. He appears after their defeat to kill the prentice Samurai and cries out for a desire to live as he dies as he'll become clean and be purified. After his death, the prentices take his head, which they find revolting, to the Kelpie to show them they were able to deal the vengeance the Kelpie sought against him.
Peallaidh also appears as support for Commander Dynamo in the second match of the "Hunter Tournament Prelims" Challenge Quest.
Shin Megami Tensei IV Apocalypse[]
Peallaidh appears in the lower areas of Kanda-no-yashiro. He can teach the Poison Breath, Pulinpa and Mudo skills through his Demon Whisper. Peallaidh benefits from learning ailment and Darkness skills.

Peallaidh is a demon of the Wilder race and can be found in the Kanasugibashi area of Da'at: Minato, by riding the Magatsu Rail found behind Ouyamatsumi. It possesses the unique skill, Entangling Tendrils. It also possesses the Deathly Affliction innate skill, which raises all allies' Accuracy and Critical Rates against foes afflicted with ailments while Peallaidh is in the active party. Peallaidh's skill potential grants it a +1 bonus to Ice skills and Support skills and a +3 bonus to Ailment skills, but confers a -3 malus to Fire skills and -2 to Light skills.
