Patriot can be found in the initial areas of Blasted Tokyo along with the Shibuya region. He cannot be recruited normally; he must either be taken as an ally from begging for his life or recruited using the Scout+ app by recruiting one of the demons with him during combat, causing him to volunteer when Scout+ is invoked. Patriot can teach Flynn the Taunt, Mudoon and Blast Arrow skills through his Demon Whisper.

Patriot can be found in Shinjuku in the east entrance main street. He cannot be recruited using the normal Scout skill. He can also be recruited by prompting him to beg for mercy by weakening him and then killing off his other party members. Having the Threatening Aura app increases the chances of this occurring. The other option is to recruit a separate demon and have the Scout+ app trigger, with him volunteering to join.

Patriot can teach Nanashi the Taunt, Cough, Tathlum Shot and Madness Needle skills through his Demon Whisper. He also benefits from any Gun, Darkness, ailment and support skills learned.
