Paragon was the commander of the Constance's Bronze Knights, now a pope residing in Constance. Some time ago, he had defeated Hoenheim in order to learn how to create demons for his own goals. Planning to eliminate all of them and become the king of all mankind once Gryas was defeated by Mattel. In the True Ending, he is the final boss of the game. His dying words lamenting his plans were for naught.
