A famous Japanese arsonist of the Edo period named Yaoya Oshichi. While taking refuge in a temple during a fire, Oshichi fell in love with a temple page. The following year, she attempted arson with the mindset that if another fire occurred, she would go back to the temple and see her love once more. However, she was caught in the act. She was punished for her crime by being burned at the stake. Her story has inspired several plays.

Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. The Soulless Army[]
"The spirit of Oshichi, an Edo-era produce store owner's daughter who was burnt at the stake. She met her lover at a fire and tried to start another blaze to see him again, but was caught."
—Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. The Soulless Army Devil Chart
Oshichi appears in the Daidouji Factory on the factory floor and in the Matrix Labyrinth as a normal encounter. Her Patra and Fire skills make her a useful addition to Raidou's demons for the area, as the Okiku-mushi that appear as bosses will both attempt to inflict Charm and are weak to Fire. Since Oshichi nullifies bullet damage, Ice Bullets will not have any effect, so Raidou will need a demon with Ice skills in order to capture Oshichi through Confinement.
