Richard Ramirez, dubbed the "Night Stalker," was an American serial killer, serial rapist, satanist, kidnapper, child abuser, and burglar. His murder crime spree in Los Angeles, and later San Francisco, lasted from June 1984 to August 1985. He was later convicted of thirteen counts of murder, five attempted murders, eleven sexual assaults, and fourteen burglaries. Sentenced to nineteen death sentences, he died while awaiting execution due to complications from B-cell lymphoma.
