Narumi works as a waitress in a maid cafe located in Akihabara, Tokyo. She uses "Naruru" as her nickname at work.
At the cafe, Merope defends her from a pushy and testy fan, and Narumi even opens up to her about her money troubles, working multiple jobs, and her enjoyment of being an idol. Merope later has Wonder change the heart of Narumi’s greedy, callous, insensitive producer, which allows Narumi to continue working as an idol rather than being forced to graduate from school.
She is also the one in charge of the Akihibara Tour event.
