Nadja is a surrealist French novel from 1928, named after a major character, a mad woman who the book's narrator takes an interest in. Over the course of the novel, he deals with his perception of her; as mysterious, demystified, and finally unknowable once more.
The name may come from the Russian word for hope, "Nadezda" or the English/French stemming from it, "Nadia", but there is no definitive answer.
Nadja's design in the Super Famicon art of Shin Megami Tensei II has her have green eyes and brown skin, blue hair, wears a short, white dress and wears a bone necklace.
For the PlayStation art of the same game, her design is not changed as much except her hair has been recolored black and her skin is lighter colored.
Profile[]
Shin Megami Tensei II[]
Nadja is found by Aleph in the underground ruins leading up to the Factory prison, lost in a room. Thinking him cute, she'll join the party, regardless of Aleph's level and teleports him to an area that allows a quick access to the prison's labor camp. Additionally, having Nadja in the party would let Aleph pass through Janus without fighting them. When Aleph finds Hiroko and Nadja asking if Hiroko is his girlfriend, whatever the answer Aleph gives her, Nadja can then merge with her so she could still part of the person he cares about, increasing Hiroko's stats by one point each.
Aleph can meet with Nadja after freeing Hiroko, but doing so would cause her to refuse on joining Aleph's party.
Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux[]
Nadja is first found trapped in a dead end in the First Sphere of the Womb of Grief. The protagonist needs the Unlock B Main App to access her location. After finding and freeing her, Nadja becomes available for fusion.
