Profile[]
Persona 4[]
Inoue was the former manager of Rise Kujikawa before the events of the game. Inoue appears occasionally during Rise's Social Link events, attempting to convince her to return to show business, before eventually giving up and proclaiming he would be managing Rise's rival, Kanami Mashita, instead. He eventually becomes her manager again once she decides to return to show business.
Persona 4 Arena Ultimax[]
He shows up during Rise's part of the beginning of P4 Story Mode, where he is giving her a lift and is noted by Rise to be more cheerful than usual. He attempts to cheer up Rise as she puts herself down, asking her if something had happened. He makes it clear that he's fine if she has a part of her life private, but that she shouldn't try to isolate herself by keeping troubling things solely to herself.
Once she learns he had things rescheduled for her to have tomorrow off, she asks him to drop her off at Okina Station. He appears in Rise's epilogue, where he interrupts her while she's acting for a role in a show. Though he later attempts to convince her to have a schedule since new offers are coming in, she turns them down and asks him to get ready to leave and to talk over what new offers she will make.
Persona 4: Dancing All Night[]
Inoue has a main role in Persona 4: Dancing All Night. He appears at TakuraPro where he introduced Rise and her friends to Kanamin Kitchen. Throughout the game he is seen not only managing Kanami, but also taking over Kyoka Ochimizu's role in the LMB Festival when she and the Investigation Team disappear into the Midnight Stage. He seems to care about Kanami's well-being and even fights to file a missing person's report for the rest of Kanamin Kitchen after they go missing for a few days, on her behalf.
Etymology[]
- The name Minoru means "fruit, good result, truth" (実).
- Minoru's surname Inoue means "well, mine shaft, pit" (井) (i) and "above, top, upper" (上) (ue), which literally means "above the well" altogether.
